The boutique ambiance, complete with stylish decor and inviting skylights, makes it an ideal spot for solo travelers or anyone looking to unwind. The honesty bar, a thoughtful addition, provides a relaxed setting to enjoy refreshments at any hour.

Kate Parr, who chose Hort's for her daughter's graduation, found the spacious, well-equipped rooms to be perfect for their celebration. Features such as Nespresso machines, a mini-bar, and complimentary treats like port and chocolates set a warm, welcoming tone that guests have come to appreciate. The air conditioning is a much-appreciated asset, especially during the sweltering summer days.

The overall experience at Hort's is enhanced by the attentive staff. Ian Hooper noted their pleasant demeanor and attentiveness during meals. Breakfast is a highlight, with guests enjoying copious portions and notable dishes, like perfectly poached eggs. However, some feedback suggests that more vigilance from housekeeping could elevate the hotel's standards even further.

Sarah Hart enjoyed her comfortable room despite a minor inconvenience with bar service during the quieter Monday and Tuesday nights. It's essential to note that while the pub offers a stylish atmosphere, it may close earlier than anticipated on slow nights.

Martin Oxley couldn't help but appreciate the art deco theme of his room, which added a touch of class to his stay. He remarked on the excellence of both the breakfast and the stylish pub below, though he found himself disappointed to be booked elsewhere on his next trip to Bristol, signaling that Hort's left a lasting impression.

With its perfect location, guests are just moments away from iconic sites like the Clifton Suspension Bridge and the Bristol Museum & Art Gallery, making Hort's Townhouse the ideal gateway for both leisure and exploration. Thus, for those seeking a hotel experience that marries sophisticated style with convenient access to Bristol's gems, Hort's Townhouse (Hotel) is highly recommended.

Loved my stay at Hort's, which has tastefully renovated rooms above their pub. I stayed in one of the cozy boutique rooms, which is perfect for solo travelers. Loved the honesty bar and skylight. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of many city sights. Transit is nearby too. The staff was really helpful and I enjoyed the couple of meals that I had at the pub. Highly recommend a stay here and would definitely come back!

Stayed for my daughter's graduation and would highly recommend. The rooms are spacious, well equipped (Nespresso machine, mini bar, wine glasses/flute, snacks) with a complementary port, chocolates and handwritten welcome note, all of which were a really nice touch. Air conditioning was a blessing in the recent heatwave. Would definitely stay again.

A very relaxed hotel/pub. We slept well in room 18. Breakfast was good and tasty with plenty on the plate. The best poached eggs I have had. The staff are very welcoming and pleasant. The only negative/positive comment would be that the housekeeping team need to match the excellence of the hotel/pub by being a bit more vigilant regarding cleaning the coffee machines and dusting behind TVs etc. As Horts is better in my opinion than other hotels in the area. We will definitely visit again.

Our room was lovely and very comfortable. The bar was good too and the hotel is in the centre of Bristol with lots of attractions, restaurants, bars and shopping on the doorstep. The only problem we had was with bar service. We were staying on a Monday and Tuesday night and appreciate they are quieter nights. But the staff were very keen to close early and on both evenings we were informed that the bar would close around 10.30pm. It felt as though it was a 'favour' for us to drink in the bar after 10.30pm and wasn't very welcoming. We were in Bristol for my granddaughter's graduation and brought our family back to the bar on the evening but then wish we hadn't.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel which is in a great location. The room we were in was really great - a sort of art deco theme and newly decorated. The breakfast was excellent and the pub below the hotel was very stylish too. I liked it very much. Annoyingly I am back in Bristol next month but have booked another hotel. I would stay again for sure.
